The second phase of our project with Radio and Television Swiss for Cross Agency, our Google Search Appliance based web search has gone live today.

We implemented the following features

• Configuration and tuning of the Google Search Appliance
• Search suggestions
• Integration of the website AJAX navigation into the GSA interface
• Menu based navigation integrated with GSA collections
• Highly customized user interface including advanced search drop down

In a project run under the auspices of Cross Agency, Geneva we implemented a Google Search Appliance (GSA) based web search for Swiss Television.

The search interface presented a number of novel challenges

• Configuration and tuning of the Google Search Appliance
• Search suggestions
• Indexing of video information
• Tag cloud
• Highly customized user interface

The Grange aux Loups website is now online. A restaurant based in the Chartreuse region of France. We carried out the following work for this client:

• Evaluation of Content Management Systems
• Evaluation of suitable web hosting providers
• Installation and configuration of CMS
• Implementation of templates based on client media/logo
• Optimisation of CMS for Search Engines
• Link campaign

The site was implemented on a restricted budget. The principal requirement was a straighforward Wiki-like Content Management System and a reuse of existing publicity material. We carried out a number of modifications to the PHP based CMS to remove any unnecessary features.
