This is a proof-of-concept Java profiler aimed at Server side applications. It has a very low run-time overhead as it uses bytecode-modifcation to insert timing hooks into the Java executable as it is loaded by the Java Virtual Machine.

COBRA

COBRA is a Java middleware product that allows a program to treat Relational Database (RDBS) tables as objects. Support for a data dictionary permits the database scheme to be modified without changing code. COBRA can be used in 2 to n-tier environment. RMI is supported with CORBA in a future release.

Status: finished but available on Sourceforge.net for further development.

GDIT

GDIT is graphics interpreter that can be used to create Graphics Interchange Format images dynamically. It was written in 1994 and was widely used for generating graphics on-the-fly for inclusion in Web pages.

JAMS

Java Mail Server. A fully functioning SMTP/POP3 mail server written in Java.

Email Beans

Java beans to support the retrieval and parsing of Internet mail messages.
