Inbound Link from a Page with many Outbound Links

The second part of equation, PR / C, is also very interesting. This means that each page that links to us increases our PageRank in proportion to its own value. The higher the PageRank the greater the increase. However the PageRank is split over all the outbound links on the page. So if a single inbound link comes from a page with a rank of 6 with 6 other outbound links on that page the increase to us is:

    Page Rank = (1 - 0.85) + 0.85 x (6.0 / 6.0) = 1.0

Whereas if there was only a single outbound link, to our page, the increase would be 5.25.
